Turn left and very soon see "McCullers Ruritan", 8116 1010 Rd., on your right. Pull into the driveway just past the building. COMMENTS: Here is an endangered cemetery. Unfenced and unkempt, it is located in an area of rapid development. Trees, a large stump and weeds prevail. The tombstones are generally in good condition. Counted from left to right by rows. C.WEATHERS, October 14, 1879-August 11, 1914 A good looking stone engraved on the upper portion "Farewell" with 2 hands shaking and "Gone to a brighter home where grief cannot come" below the names. The area is overgrown and needs attention. 2. ERNEST C. WEATHERS, September 21, 1879-February 17, 1950-"A job well done" inscribed. Area needs weeding. Further east and back are these: Row 2. 3. This is a very beautiful marker, a lamb on top, a drape effect carved in the stone, set on a base with MORGAN engraved, set on a larger base. Footstone LEM 12. LIDIA MORGAN, October 24, 1824-February 17, 1902. Another pretty stone with MORGAN on a base set on another base. Footstone LM 13. CHARITY E. MORGAN, August 20, 1854-February 28, 1947 14. A large granite headstone GILL, with 3 lesser stones in front of it: JOSEPH V. GILL., February 15, 1852-November 17, 1904; 15. REBECCA A. GILL, December 12, 1856-January 9, 1929; 16. J. CLEVELAND GILL, 1884-1952. 17. VERNON BANKS, September 13, 1914-July 8, 1932, "Gone but not forgotten" 18. WILLIAM THOMOS BANKS, September 29, 1878-January 21, 1923, same inscr.
