Contributor's Notes:  This appears to be an old family cemetery on the 
corner of Nipper Road and Mount Vernon Church Road.  A new elementary 
school is across the street.  This is a misleading cemetery.  At first, it 
appears to be just a few headstones, well groomed and cared  for.  A 
further look, however, proves to be interesting.  There are several graves 
behind these nicely kept ones that are in disrepair and located in a 
heavily wooded area. Headstones mark them but most are unreadable.  Some 
have sunken in dramatically.

1897 (this headstone had toppled over but was easily read.  It was a 
majestic stone at one time but looks like it may be storm damage.)

TWILLEY, Henry Moss  born: 1889. (Couldn't read rest  - hand carved)

HOLDEN, Davy  died: 28, May 1918  (born?) 5 November 1888 (hand carved)

HOLDEN, Lizer died: 3-17-1905 Age: 80
