Wake County, NC - Partin Family Cemetery ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ June 12, 2005 Partin Family Cemetery Nell's Way Fuquay Varina, Middle Creek Twp, Wake Co., NC Dir: From Hwy. # 42 East, go south on Walter Myatt Rd. (SR 2756) for 2 miles. Turn right onto Buck Rowland Rd.(SR 2757) and almost immediately turn right onto Nell's Way, a dirt road in a trailer community. About 200 ft. ahead, a cemetery is visible. N 35°34'01" W 78°43'24" I visited the remnants of this family cemetery and recorded what was visible through the courtesy of Mr. Julian Pearce and Ms. Virginia Monday, whose record of the vandalized headstones is posted below. I have marked the headstones that I viewed with a star *. The other headstones have been broken beyond repair and the cemetery is overgrown. A block wall that once surrounded the cemetery is damaged. There is no owner of record of the cemetery which was included in a land sale in 1939. There are no plans for any future burials.
