Bill of Sale from Reynold Allen to Peter Eli Bruce

To all People to whom these presents shall come, I send Greeting of the County 
of Wake and Provence of North Carolina Planter, for and in Consideration of 
the Love and good will and affection which I have and do bear towards my 
Loving Son Peter Eli Bruce of the same County, have given and granted and by 
these presents do freely give and grant unto the said Peter Eli Bruce one 
Negroe Girl named Silva of which before the Signing of these presents I have 
delivered him the said Peter Eli Bruce the said Negroe Girl, to have and to 
hold the said Negroe Girl to him the said Peter Eli Bruce his Heirs or 
Executors or Administrators henceforth as his proper right after my decease, 
absolutely without any manner of Condition.  In Witness whereof I have 
hereunto set my hand and this 11th of October Seventeen hundred and eighty -

          The within Bill of Gift was duly proved in open Court by the Oath of 
john Gray a Witness thereto and ordered to be Recorded.

Bill of sale from Reynold Allen to his son-in-law Peter Eli Bruce who had 
married Reynold's only daughter whose given name is unknown.
