April 11, 1860 SALE OF VALUABLE SLAVES STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA --Wake County -- Court of Equity, Spring Term, 1860 -- MATRILDA BROUGHTON, LUCIUS SMITH and wife, and another, exparte. Pursuant to an order made at Spring Term, 1860, of the Court of Equity of Wake, the undersigned Clerk and Master will proceed to sell, at the residence of the late JESSE BROUGHTON, on the first day of May next, the slaves in the pleadings mentioned, to wit: SALLIE, CANDIS,CHARLES, DOCTOR, AUSTIN, RUFFIN, SARAH and FAB. TERMS OF SALE -- Five per cent of purchase money to be paid in chash. A credit of six months will be given to the purchaser, on his entering into bond with approved surety, bearing interest from the day of sale. Also in the case of WM. A. ROGERS and others vs. ISAAC ROGERS and mother, and on the same terms on the Monday of May Court (21st May) the undersigned will proceedc to sell, pursuant in an order of the Court of Equity, a ceed to sell, pursuant in an order of the Court of Equity, a negro slave named VIRGIL,the property of MISS S.A.
