FORT vs. JAS. S. MOORING --Attachment levied on slaves. In this case it appearing to the Court that the defendant is a non- resident, it is ordered that advertisement be made in the North Carolina Standard for six weeks for said defendant to appear at the next term of this Court to be held at the Court House in Raleigh, on the third Monday of February next, then and there to plead or replevy or a judgment pro confesso will bve entered against him and slaves levied to be condemned to the use of said plaintiff's claim.
