Witnesseth that the said Joel Lane in behalf of himself and the rest of the Justices aforesaid hath put out and Bound Cary Chapple apprentice to the said William Reeves, who is to teach his said apprentice in the Art and Mistery of Spining & further to teach or cause to be taught or Instructed in Reading and writing agreeable to her degree and agreeable to Law, and the said Cary Chapple is to Serve her said Master well and faithfully until She attains the age of eighteen years during which time the said William Reeves shall provide and procure for her said apprentice Sufficient Meal, Drink, Washing, Lodging and Apparel both linen, and wooling, fit and Convenient for such an apprentice and further to do and perform every article and thing as directed in an act of the General Assembly of the State aforesaid in that case made and provided.
