LEGAL NOTICE
    PEGGY BENTON, POLLY BENTON, THOMAS BENTON, JESSE BENTON, NANCY BENTON, 
SAMUEL BENTON, NATHANIEL BENTON and SUSANNAH BENTON, heirs of JESSE BENTON and 
JOEL RICE and  NATHAN RICE, heirs of JOHN RICE:
   Take notice, that on Saturday, the 7th day of March next, between the hours 
of ten in the morning and five in the afternoon, I shall take the deposition 
of the honorable MONTFORT STOKES, at Davis' Hotel, in the City of Washington 
and District of Columbia, to be read in evidence in the suit in Wake Superior 
Court, where I am plaintiff and THOMAS HUNT, Executor of MIARUCON HUNT, and 
others, are defendants, at which time and place you may attend and cross 
examine if you think proper.
