This Indenture made this thirteenth day of December in the year of our Lord 
one thousand eight hundred an five by and between Bartlett Allen & William 
Fearell and Charaty Fearell all of the County of Wake & State of North 
Carolina of the  one part & John Nichols of the County & State aforesaid of 
the other part witnesseth that the said Bartlet Allen & Wm Fearell & Charaty 
Fearell for and in consideration of the Sum of Forty five Spanish mill dollars 
to us in hand paid by the said John Nichols the receipt whereof was 
acknowledged and deliver (sic?) fully Satisfide hath given granted bargained 
sold & Confirmed with John Nichols & his heirs and assigns forever a certain 
tract of land Containing Forty five acres be the same more or less lying & 
being in the County aforesaid and bounded as follows -- Beginning at Henry 
Hubbards North Corner on a hickory in the said Nichols line then with said 
Hubbards line Easterly six pole to a pine at the Corner of James Taborns fence 
then with his fence North ninety six pole to a pine under the side of Taborns 
fence Betsey Moors Corner then west along Betsy Moors line seventy six pole to 
a pine and red oak then to the Beginning with all and singular the rights 
profits and priviledges with the hereditaments & appurtenances hereto in 
anywise appertaining or belonging & we the said Bartlett Allen & Wm Fearell 
and Charaty Fearall does agree that they will forever warrant & defend the 
above bargained land & premises from the Claim or Claims of any person or 
persons it being a peas of land the above mentioned Bartlet Allen Sold to the 
above mentioned William Ferell & give said Ferell a deed for said land & said 
Ferell says the said deed is lost or mislaid & never was admitted to record & 
this deed is for the same parsel of land & the said Bartlet Allen & William 
Ferell & Charaty Fearell doth further agree that the above bargained land is 
Clear of all manner of incumbrances & that our Executors, or administrators 
doth warrant & forever defend the same in witness whereof we have hereunto set 
our hands and seals the day & date first above written Signd Seald & delivered
