Bartlett Allen   §
      to
Benjamin Rogers  §
State of No. Carolina Wake County.  Know all Men by these presents, that I 
Bartlet Allen of the County of Wake and State aforesd. & Benjamin Rogers of 
the same County and State aforesaid, Witnesseth that the said Bartlett Allen 
for and in consideration of the Sum of Twenty Four dollars, & fifty cents, to 
me in hand paid by the said Benjamin Rogers, the Receipt whereof is hereby 
acknowledged hath bargained Sold & Confirmed, unto him the said Benjamin and 
his heirs forever all my rite Interest, and claim, that I have in the land & 
plantation whereon I now live which I purchased of James A. Allen & of Jesse 
Gill, also my rite & title to a small filly also all my stock of Hogs & 
Cattle, except the eight of Allen Burchollis?, and all my Household & Kitchen 
furniture, consisting of pots, some Tables, ---- Cupboard, Trunk, Earthen 
ware, also one Bed & furniture except what the Law allows my wife unto him the 
said Benjamin Rogers & his heirs forever & I the said Bartlet Allen do forever 
warrant and defend the right & title & Interest of the above mentioned Land & 
property against me & my heirs forever unto him the said Benjamin Rogers, his 
heirs, administrators etc. and I Bartlet Allen, have hereunto set my hand & 
seal this 30th day of October in the year of our Lord 1829.  Signed Sealed & 
delivered in presents of us.

Bosley a Witness thereto and Ordered to be Registered.
