Deed Book Q-pages 42-43 Drury Dunn to Burwell Vick This indenture, made this tenth day of January One Thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety Eight between Drury Dunn, of the County of Wake and State of North Carolina of the one part, and Burwell Vick of the county and state aforesaid of the other part, witnesseth that the said Drury Dunn for and in consideration of fifty five pounds current money of this state to me in hand paid the receipt whereof I hereby acknowledge. Do bargain sell and by these present do bargain sell alien ___ convey and confirm unto the said Burwell Vick on certain tract or parcel of land containing thirty acres, lying and being in the County aforesaid, and situate on the East side of Miry Branch and bounded as followeth. Beginning where John Curtis’s & Drury Dunn’s line cross the said branch, thence South one hundred & forty pole to an Oak, a corner between said Dunn & said Curtis, thence South eighty eight West thirty three pole to the said Miry Branch, thence down the various courses of said Branch to the first Station also one other tract or parcel of Land Containing, seven acres and a quarter lying and being in the county aforesaid and situated on the North side of Orn? Mile Branch and Bounded as followeth, Beginning just below a ford on said branch where John Curtis’s and Drury Dunn’s line cross the same thence North with said Curtis’s and said Dunn’s line forty two poles to a post oak, a corner between said Dunn and said Curtis, and in Burwell Vicks line thence West fifty six pole along said Vicks line to said branch, thence down the various courses of said branch to the first station, containing in the whole thirty seven and a quarter acres, together with all woods waters minis and minerals, appurtenances and improvements thereunto belonging to have and to hold the said Bargained premises, against the lawful claim right or title by whom so ever made.
