Wake County           §

This Platt doth Exhibit the Land of Major Holloway Decd out of Which we in 
obedience to an order of the Court of Wake County August Sessions 1804 after 
being duly qualified have proceeded to lay off as follows To Wit

Beginning at a Hickory on Elobys Creek near the ford thence with the Road No 
(sic North) 70 Wt (sic West) forty four pole to a post oak in James Kimbroughs 
line Thence No (sic North) 8 Wt (sic West) one hundred & thirty two pole to a 
black Jack, Thence So. (sic South) 36 Et (sic East) Twenty Six poles to a post 
Oak, Thence North 53 East one hundred and fifty two poles to a pine, Thence 
nearly East forty pole to a Hickory a dividing corner, and thence to the 
beginning containing One hundred & Eighty Six acres.  We do alot to Sarah 
Holloway Widow of Major Holloway Decd for her Thirds & Dower of all the Land 
of her decd Husband.

          Certified by us and Given under our hands and Seals this 3rd day of 
Nov. 1804.
