Seth Jinks to C.S Jinks

This indenture made this the 1st day of April  in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and forty eight (1848) between Seth Jinks of the one part
and C.S. Jinks of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Seth Jinks for and in
consideration of the natural love and affection which he has unto the said C.S.
Jinks has given, granted...... all that message or appurtenances situated
together with the privileges ..... beginning at the pine tree in Whitney
Upchurch' line thence North with said  Upchurches to a white oak tree on the
bank of white oak Creek thence down the meanders of said creek to a maple
William Jinks corner. Thence south with William Jinks line to a ___wood slab in
Marrion ?oliver? Line thence East with said ?oliver line to the beginning
containing one hundred acres more or less..... Seth Jinks

In presence of: Britton Mills, Gren? Mills

November Term 1848.  The execution of this deed of gift is in open court duly
proven by the oath of Green Mills and ordered to be registers.  James T. Marecott
Registered in the Registers office of Wake Co. in Book No 18 and page 39 the 18
days of Dec 1848.  Hinton Hudson, Register
