Witnesseth That the said Avery Parham for and in consideration of the sum of two Hundred Dolalrs to him in hand paid by the said William Parham at or before the Ensealing & delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof the said Avery Parham doth hereby acknowledge himself fully Satisfied, contented and paid hath given, granted, bargained & sold & by these presents doth absolutely Bargain & Sell, alein Ensseoff & confirm unto the said William Parham, his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of Land, Situate lying and being in the County of Wake as aforesaid on the South side of Neuse River & on both sides of Crooked Creek and bounded as follows. Beginning at Pointers in James Saffons line then South 80 oles to a sassafras on a Branch, thence down this Branch to Crooked Creek, thence up said Creek so as not to include any of the Low Grounds, 60 ps. there abouts to William Shipps' line thence 120 poels to a dead pine stump, thence N. 144 poles to a Red Oad, thence west 114 poles to Beginning. Containing by measurements one Hundred & three acres to have and to hold the said bargained promises unto William Parham, his heirs, Executors, admin. and assigns forever together with all Honer and Appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise assertaining and the said Avery Parham doth give for himself & his heirs that the said William Parham, his hiers & may ever hereafter have hold occupy ossess & enjoy the same without any debt or hinderances Whatever, and the said Avery Parham doth with the said William Parham that the said Land is free and discharge from all manner of incumberances whatever & that he will warrent and defend the same against the Lawful claim of all persons whomever in witness whereof the said Avery Parham hath hereunto Set his Sealed and delivered in the presence of L.
