LEVI GUTHRIE, GRANTOR           WILLIAM PARHAM, 
GRANTEE

This Indenture made this fifth day of September in the year of our lord on 
thousand Seven Hundred and ninety between Levi Guthrie of the County of Wake,
State of North Carolina of the one part & William parham of the Same County 
and State aforesaid of the other part  Witnesseth for and in consideration 
of the Sum of one hundred pounds currency of the state aforesaid to the said
Levi Guthrie in hand paid by the said William Parham at or before the 
insealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof he doth hereby 
acknowledge & therefore doth release acquit and discharge the said William 
parham his heirs & by these presents and the said Levi Guthrie hath granted 
Bargained, Sealed aliened and Confirmed and by these presents doth grant 
bargain sell alien and Confirm unto the said William parham his heirs and 
assigns us a certain tract or Parcell of Land in the County of Wake and 
State aforesaid bounded as follows, lying on the North side of Nuce River  
Begining at a post oak in Luke Ray's line Obadiah Luwellens Corner thence 
with Luwellens line North one hundred and Eighty six Poles to a hickory  
Peter Bunces Corner thence with his line South Eighty Six degrees East two 
hundred and Forty pole to a pine, thence to the begining being one hundred 
and thirty two acres with all houses buildings orchards  waters Water houses
profits Commodities herndintaments and appertencance whatsoeverunto the said
premises hereby granted or any part thereof belonging or in any wise 
appertaining and the Resi____ remainers unto _______ and profits thereof and
also all the Estate Rights title Interest use and _____ profits ______
and deserved whatsoever of him the said Levi Guthrie of in unto said premises
and all Evidence and evertything tuching the Sam to have and to hold other 
the Said granted may morefully appear the land hererby conveyed and all and 
singular unto the premises hereby bargained and sold and every part and 
parcell thereof with their and every of the appertances unto the Said 
William Parham his heirs and assigns to the only propursoe and behalf of 
him the said William Parham his heirs and assigns forever and the said Levi 
Guthrie for himself his heirs & doth convenant and agree to and with the 
said William Parham his heirs and assigns forever by these presents and 
that the said Levi Guthrie at the ____ of sealing and delivering of these
presents is sized with a good ____perfect and Indefeasible Estate of 
inherertence inse _____ of and to the premises hererby bargained and sold 
and that he has good power and lawfull authority to grant and Convey the 
same to the said William Parham in the ______ from aforeaid and that the 
said William Parham nor and is forever hereafter Shall remain free and Clear
of all for _____ and from all manner of Incumberances whatsoever and that 
the said Levi Guthrie and his heirs all and singular do and Shall warrant 
and forever defend the same against the ______ Claim of any person or 
persons whatinever In witness whereof the said Levi Guthrie hath hereunto 
Set his hand and affix his seal the day and year first above written.

                The execution of the withing deed was in open Court duly 
proven by the oath of a. Parham a subscribing witness thereto and ordered to
be registered.
