Henderson B. ROCHELLE, Alsea ROCHELLE, Nancy RAY on the first part and Mary ROCHELLE of the other part, all of the Co. of Wake and State of N.C. That for and in consid. of the sum of 1 silver dollar, to us paid by Mary ROCHELLE, we do sell to the said Mary ROCHELLE one small track of land, being in the Co. of Wake, and state of N.C. It being the other half of our share or portions in the Dowry of land where on Lydia JOPLIN late of this Co. lived and died, the other part of said share or portion, belonging to the heirs of Jese DAVIS Senr.,Dec. and which the halves is considered equal, to one ninth part or portion of said Dowery of land and we the party of the first part, claiming under a conveyance from Mordecia JOPLIN one of the legal heirs of, and to OUR FATHER WILLIAM ROCHELLE,DEC. and Jese DAVIS,dec. to have and to hold the above described lands, clear and free from us our kin, and moreover, we for ouselves or our heirs or asignes do by these presents, relinquish our rights and claims to the same and give this as a final quit claim from us forever, unto the said Mary ROCHELLE in her own right forever, clear and free from us or from all other persons whatsoever. In testimony, whereof, we the party of the frist part hath hereunto set our hand and seals.This day and date first above written signed sealed and delivered in presence of us.
