Deed Book V, Pg 133

David Royster, of the County of Wake, in the State of North Carolina of the 
one party and Hartwell Reaves, of the County of Wake and State of North 
Carolina of the other part WITNESSETH that the sd Alexd Myatt & David Royster 
for & in Consideration of the Sum of Thirty dollars to him in hand paid by the 
said Hartwell Reaves, the receipt whereof the said Myatt & Royster doth hereby 
acknowledge, hath given granted, bargained and Sold, aliened and confirmed by 
these presents, doth give grant bargain & sell alien & confirm, unto the said 
Reaves, his heirs & assigns forever all that lott or parcel of Land, situate 
lying & being in the County of Wake and City of Raleigh, lying on Martin, 
Person & Bloodworth Streets & numbered 108 - the plan of the said City, and 
also all the woods, ways, waters, and water Courses, and all and every the 
appurtenances, thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and the 
reversion & reversions, remainder and remainders rents issues & profits of the 
aforesaid lands & premises, and every part thereof, and all the estate right, 
title interest claim, property and demand, whatsoever of the said Alexd Myatt, 
& David Royster, of in and to the lands & premises hereby granted TO HAVE and 
to hold, the aforesaid lands & premises, with the appurtenances unto the said 
Hartwell Reaves his heirs & assigns, to the only proper use and behoof of the 
said Reaves, his heirs & assigns for ever and the sd Alexd Myatt & David 
Royster, for themselves & their Heirs, the aforesaid land and premises, and 
every part thereof, against them & their heirs and against the claim or 
claims, of all & every other persons whatsoever, to the sd Hartwell Reaves, 
his heirs and assigns, shall & will warrant & forever defend by these presents
IN WITNESS whereof the said Alexander Myatt, & David Royster have hereunto set 
their hands and affixed their Seals the day and year first above written.

          The execution of this Deed was in open Court duly acknowledged and 
ordered to be registered.  Teste Wm Hill  Clk
