Burt § This Indenture made the 24th day of March Eighteen Hundred and Thirty. Between Willie Womack in the first part. John Reeves (sic Reavis) on the second part, and Alfred C. Burt on the third part. Witnesseth, that whereas the said Willie Womack, Stands justly indebted unto the said A. C. Burt, the Sum of Ninety dollars, given by note this day, and due the first day of October next, and by reference to which will more fully appear - and the said Willie Womack being honestly and desirous to secure the payment of the same. In Consideration of the premises and for the further consideration of the Sum of Ninety dollars to him in hand paid by the said John Reves (sic Reavis), the receipt whereof is fully acknowledged the said Willie Womack has bargained sold and conveyed unto the said John Reeves (sic Reavis), his heirs & assigns forever the following property (To wit - One Tract or parcel of Land, whereon I now live, and Including my plantation and dwelling House, and containing three Hundred Acres, being the same more or less lying and being Situated in the County of Wake, and Chatham, the dwelling House in the County of Wake, the sd. land adjoining Wm. Booker & others. To have & to hold the above mentioned land free from the claims of all persons whatsoever, unto the said John Reeves (sic Reavis) his heirs & assigns forever. In Trust Nevertheless that the said John Reeves (sic Reavis) shall sell the aforesaid property, at public sale, for ready money on the premises the said trust of land, after the first day of October next. The said John Reeves (sic Reavis) first giving Ten days notice of time and place by public advertisement at least three public places in said County and to make good and Warrantee Deed to the purchasers for the said tract of Land, and the money arising therefrom to apply to the discharge of said Note of Ninety dollars, with all Costs & charges, which are or may arise by Virtue of these premises and the balance of the money if any to pay to the said Willie Womack or his heirs or assigns. In Witness whereof the said Willie Womack, John Reeves (sic Reavis) the Trustee and Alfred C.
