Lemuel Barker Standard of Raleigh: Oct. 15, 1862 DIED, at Chimborazi Hospital, Richmond, Va., of typhoid pneumonia, on the 11th day of September, 1862, PVT. LEMUEL PARKER, of Wake County, N. C., aged 25 years, one month and 25 days. He was a private in Company G, 1st N. C. Troops. He has left an aged mother, brothers, sisters, relatives and a large circle of friends. He had been a consistent member of the Baptist Church for seven years. His remains were sent home to the family burial ground, accompanied by his affectionate brother, JOHN W. BARKER.
