Death Of Pvt. Calvin Pack
The Raleigh Standard: 4 Jan. 1865
   DIED, in the General Hospital at Stanton, Va. on the 28th Nov. last, MR. 
CALVIN PACK, a member of the 1st N. C. [Sharpshooters] Battalion. 
He died of typhoid pneumonia. He was ill about 30 days, and was carefully 
attended to. He bore his affiction with great patience and resignation.
