Wounded At Goldsboro'
The Raleigh Standard, 24, Dec. 1862
   Among the wounded who reached this place on Wednesday evening [from the 
Battle of Goldsboro'] was MAJOR JOHN A. GRAVES, of the 47th, who was injured 
in the leg by the falling of his horse on Monday.
