Drury Cade's Company, Col. Leonard Marbury's Georgia Regt. He was in the battle of Fort Barrington and Nassau River in Florida against the British and Indians. He was discharged 15 Jan 1779, and his pension was allowed 16 Aug 1823 in Wythe Co., Va. In 1825 he had a wife Sarah, and a daughter, Betsey, age 23. John Wall of Wythe Co. appeared in Surrey Co. 27 Jan 1823. William Wall made oath in Surry Co. before John Perkins that he also served with John Wall. William Wall had a distant connection to John Wall. John Perkins knew John Wall 8 or 10 years. John also served with William Hill. John Wall was a shoemaker.
