On Thursday last, WILLIAM HILL, ESQ., was elected Clerk of Wake County Court 
of Pleas & Quarter Sessions, in the place of SIMON  TURNER, ESQ, resigned; and 
MR. RICHARD SMITH  was elected County Register in the place of MR. HILL.
