The Weekly Standard of Raleigh, N. C.  of 12 June 1861
RANAWAY FROM THE SUBSCRIBER his son, FRANCIS M. NORWOOD, about the 20th of 
April. He is about 14 years of age, fair complexion and light hair. He left me 
without good cause, and, as I am anxious to get him home I will compensate any 
person who will deliver him to me, or give me information of his whereabouts 
so I can get him. I hereby forewarn all persons from employing or harboring 
him, under a strict penalty of the law made for such offences.
