FREEMAN KILLINGWORTH, a Magistrate of Johnston County, was apprehended last week on a charge of counterfeiting silver dollars. Search being made, a monkey (or mould in which dollars are stamped) was found in his chest, and some other discoveries made. There is great reason to believe that this man and BENJAMIN CLARK of Wake County, (lately arrested) and we lament to say, many others, (some of whom as a cloak to their villiany are preachers of the Gospel) are concerning in counterfeiting. KILLINGSWORTH was bailed in $4,000 to appear at the next Superior Court for Johnston County.
