Died

In this county in Providence Township, April 25th, 1879 at 1 o'clock, p.m. after 
a protracted illness, Mrs. Maggie M. Ardrey, wife of Capt William E. Ardrey and 
daughter of the late William P. Robinson, aged 37 years. God in his wisdom has 
removed this true christian lady, affectionate wife and devoted mother in the 
very prime of her life. Her exemplary life and dying testimony afford to her 
sorrowing family and friends a well grounded hope that hers is a blessed 
translation. She had been a consistent member of the church for twenty years. A 
devoted husband is left behind, and in his charge five interesting children and, 
sad to know, one of these a tender babe only a few weeks old that can never know 
the precious value of a mother's love. May God in his mercy sanctify this 
affliction to the good of the sorrowing family and friends.
