Mrs. D. H. BARBOUR, 63, of Fuquay Springs, Route 1,
died at her home Saturday after a lengthy illness. 
She was the former Alma JOHNSON of Harnett County.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Tracey
CHURCHILL of Fuquay Springs; two sons, Clifton BARBOUR
of Fuquay Springs and David H. BARBOUR of Fort Bragg;
two sisters, Mrs. Flossie C. McLEOD of Jacksonville,
Fla., and Mrs. Annie SUGGS of Lillington, Route 1; a
brother, C. H. JOHNSON of Newton Grove; and eight
grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held from
Piney Grove Baptist Church Sunday at 4 p.m. 
Officiating will be the Rev. J. L. ATKINS, pastor of
Piney Grove Church, and the Rev. J. Lee JOHNSON of
Fuquay Springs.  The body will lie in state at the
church for one hour prior to the services.  Pallbearers
