Blanche Holland Booth died Saturday, May 16, 2009 following several years of 
declining health. She was born December 31, 1912 to the late Merrimon and 
Lillian Hilliard Holland of Apex. A lifelong resident of Wake Co. she was a 
faithful member of Olive Chapel Baptist Church. She had been a member of Shady 
Grove Baptist Church where she served as pianist for over 30 years. 

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, 
Bruce Raeford Booth, son-in-law, Terry Carr, and daughter-in-law, Johnny 
Booth. She is survived by her children, Anne Keyes (Tom) of Raleigh, Webster 
Booth (Kitty) of Cary, and Raeford Booth of Mobile, AL; grandchildren, Earl 
Booth of Mobile, AL, Mary Farnell (Ray) of Daphne, AL, David Booth of Apex, 
Diana Booth of Raleigh and Tony Carr (Paula) of Raleigh; daughter-in-law, 
Jeanette Booth of Daphne, AL; and two great grandchildren. 

A service celebrating her life and homegoing will be held on Tuesday May 19, 
2009 at 3:00 p.m. at the Apex Funeral Home Chapel, 550 W. Williams St. in 
Apex, NC. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fuquay-Varina. Her family 
will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday May 18, 2009 at the Apex 
Funeral Home.
