Died at the house of George Brasfield, Esq., Mr. David Brasfield, senior, in 
the 84th year of his age. After this world had lost its enjoyments to him, he 
was withdrawn therefrom without apparent pain of body or mind, having the 
pleasing prospect before him of a blessed immortality. He had been a member of 
the Baptist church about forty three years without censure and died without a 
foe. 

Also on the same day and about the same hour, Mrs. Polly Yates, widow of Mr. 
Loyd Yates, youngest daughter of the above dec. in the 42d year of her age, 
leaving behind her a large family of children and friends to mourn her loss.
