The Raleigh Standard, Sept. 14, 1859
SUDDEN DEATH -- We learn that PASCHAL B. BURT ESQ., of this County, died 
suddenly at his residence on Saturday last, of paralysis. MR. BURT was one of 
our most useful citizens. He was at one time, Sheriff of Wake County, and 
always largely enjoyed the confidence and respect of his fellow citizens.
