Sunday Morning August 8, 1954, page 12 Funeral services for Bartow Kistler PIERCE, 63, will be held from the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel Sunday at 3 p.m. The Rev. Edwin ROGERS, pastor of Holland's Methodist Church, will officiate and burial will be in Montlawn. Mr. PIERCE died early Saturday at Rex Hospital after a brief illness. He was a member of Holland's Methodist Church, serving as a member of the board of stewards; and was a member of McCullers Ruritan Club and Kelford Gun Club. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nita Brigman PIERCE; two daughters, Mrs. Ray REEVE and Mrs. Juanita GODWIN, both of Raleigh; a son, B. K. PIERCE Jr., of Raleigh; six grandchildren; three brothers, J. B. PIERCE of Sanford, N. H. PIERCE of Union, SC, and W. Z. PIERCE of Charlotte; five sisters, Mrs. Will FORE and Mrs. Everett ___ of Latta, SC, Mrs. Vernon PARHAM of Bennettsville, SC, Mrs. Harry LANG of Lansdown, Pa, and Mrs. Conley MOFFITT of Sanford. Pallbearers will be Johnny BU__ELL, Lloyd MALCOLM, Kenneth FERRELL, Livingston FISH, Dick MORTON and Draper RHODES.
