Raleigh Standard 3 Aug. 1864
   DIED, in Lynchburg, Va., on the 20th February 1864, Private JAMES W. 
COLLINS of Company D, 1st Regiment North Carolina Troops. He received a mortal 
wound in a skirmish near Morton's Ford. He was a faithful member of the 
Baptist church at Holly Springs, Wake County.
