The Standard of Raleigh, Sept. 17, 1862

  DIED, in the vicinity of Raleigh, of diptheria, on the 11th instant, MISS 
MARTHA COOPER, daughter of MR. PHILLIP COOPER, in the 22nd year of her age. 
She was an excellent young woman and died full of hope of blessed immortality.
