J. M. ATKINSON, of the Presbyterian Church. MR. COSBY was a native of Virginia,and an architect and Master Builder. Many edifices, monuments of his skill and industry may be seen in Virginia and in this State. More that 60 years ago, MR. COSBY, when a young man, worked on the University of Va., under the direction and superindendance of MR. JEFFERSON. We have often heard him speak of his conversations with that illustrious man, and of the information he received from him in architecture and the art of making brick. MR. COSBY leaves numerous descendants in Virginia and this State.
