Died

In this county on the 11th inst., John Thomas, eldest son of Thomas A. and Mary 
Crowder, age 12 years 7 months and 17 days. He was an affectionate child and 
universally loved by all who knew him; yet God in his providence has taken him from

this dark world of sorrow. He left bright evidences behind that he had gone to that

better land where sorrow never comes and deaths are known no more.
