The Raleigh Standard,  May 18, 1859
     DIED, at the residence of her father, in Wake County, on the 9th instant, 
of consumption, MRS. P. L. DUDLEY, wife of DAVID C. DUDLEY, printer, and 
daughter of WILLIAM and MARY SHAW, in the 35th year of her age. The deceased 
was a consistent member of the Baptist Church for the space of 20 years. She 
leaves a husband and three small children to mourn her loss.
