EXUM LEE FUTRELL

  A funeral service for Exum Lee Futrell, 59, of 827 Hemlock St., Franklin, was 
held Saturday at 2 p.m. in W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. Harry 
Bunch.
  Burial was in Southampton Memorial Park.
  Futrell died Thursday at 8 a.m. at his residence.
  A native of Zebulon, he was a son of J. Hubert and Mrs. Salley Hunnycut Liles 
Futrell and the late Mrs. Mabel Drake Futrell.
  He was a retired employee of Union Camp Corp. and an army veteran of World War 
II.
  He was a Baptist.
  He is survived by three step-daughters, Mrs. Thomas Matthews, Mrs. Tommie 
Vinson, Mrs. W.H. Fowler all of Franklin; two step-sons, Andrew T. Drake and 
Harry L. drake of Franklin; one sister Mrs. Sallie F. Tillage of Norfolk.
