Mrs. Berta Tucker Glenn, daughter of the Late Ruffin and Betty Tucker was born 
in Wake County North Carolina December 7, 1903.  Departed this life Sunday 
February 27, 1977.

At an early age she joined Fayetteville Street Baptist Church and was a 
faithful member until her inclining health.  She was a member of the Raleigh 
Community Club and the First Aid Group of the Raleigh Community Club.

She married to the late Cephus Glenn.  To this union was born four children.

She leaves to mourn:  One son, Mr John Glenn of Washington, DC; two daughters, 
Miss Isabelle Glenn of Raleigh and Mrs Doris Freeman of Washington, DC.  Five 
sisters, Mrs. Vera Lanier, Mrs. Lillie Mae Tucker, Mrs Violet Jones and Miss 
Lula Mae Tucker of Raleigh.  Mrs. Mildred McNeal of Brooklyn, NY.  Two 
brothers:  Mr. Kenneth Tucker of Hampton, VA and Mr. James Tucker of Raleigh.  
Nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  One aunt Mrs. Dollie Tucker 
Rowland of Raleigh and a host of relatives and friends.
