Raleigh Standard   27 June 1860
   DIED, on the 16th inst., at his residence in Wake County, HUGH E. LYON, 
ESQ., aged 47. For many years before his death, he was an acting magistrate 
for the county; and in every position was respected and loved by his neighbors 
and by all who knew him. A widow and seven children are left to mourn him.
