Mon. June 9, 1806, Raleigh Minerva
DIED, on the 4th instant, near the Falls of Neuse, in Wake County, at the 
advanced age of 107, MR. JOHN MANUEL. He was born in Maryland, but came to the 
Neuse settlement 60 to 70 years ago. He was an industrious man and remarkable 
for his honesty.
