Died

In this city on Saturday the 12th inst., John Marshall, Esq. in the 49th year 
of his age. Mr. M. settled in this place in the year 1792 and from the 
integrity of his heart and his hospitable and benevolent disposition, he 
enjoyed the friendship and respect of all who knew him. His remains were 
interred on Sunday, after a sermon by the Rev. Dr. McPheeters, by the Masonic 
brotherhood, of which society he had been long a member.
