Raleigh Minerva
Mon., Sept. 15, 1806, Raleigh Minerva
DIED, on Saturday last, in Raleigh, in the 23rd year of his age, MR. AARON F. 
McGREADY, Principal Teacher in the Raleigh Academy. He was attacked with a 
fever about six weeks since, which resisted every effort of medical skill to 
remove it. Seldom has a more painful task fallen to our lot than to record the 
fate of this young gentleman. Endowed with uncommon talents, he bid fair to 
become an ornament of his country. By his attention and abilities he had 
raised the institution of which he had the superintendence to a most 
flourishing state.
