KIVA ALLEN BISHOP PARKER

   Word has been received in the county of the death of Mrs. Kiva Allen Bishop 
Parker, aged 74, at her home in Wake Forest, N.C., early in July. She was best 
known in the county as the wife of the late Bob Bishop. Their marriage took 
place in the early 1890’s. Around the turn of the century they went to make 
their home in Wake Forest, where Mr. Bishop died in 1911. Later she married J. 
Frank Parker.

   She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Elva Glover of Statesville, N.C., and 
Mrs. Eugenia Cox of Raleigh, N.C., several grandchildren and brother and 
sisters, she being the eldest of ten brothers and sisters, all of natives of 
Wake County, N.C.
