Ben Lacy Thomas died on 5/23/1973 at age 80. He lived in Fuquay and was 
a retired farmer. He was buried at Montlawn Cemetery in Raleigh. His wife 
was Annie Jones Thomas, son Luen J. Thomas of Raleigh, daughter Mrs. J. W. 
Sandy of Holly Springs. He had 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 
and 1 great-great-grandchild.
