A. P. Marshburn having applied to me for a LICENSE for the Marriage of 
John H. Herndon, of Wake County, aged 26 years, color White, the son of 
Wesley Herndon (should be Leslie Hernodon) and Elizabeth Herndon, the 
father now dead and the mother dead resident of _______; and Genora K. 
Massey of Wake County, aged 22 years, color White, the daughter of Gray 
Massey and Susan Massey, the father dead and the mother being resident
