It was announced today that Postmaster Willis G. Briggs of Raleigh will be 
married in February to Miss Beulah Sanderlin, now of Washington. The bride-
elect is the daughter of the late State Auditor, Rev. George W. Sanderlin. 
Postmaster Briggs, who for several years was a newspaper man, is one of the 
most prominent of the younger Republicans in North Carolina. The news comes as 
a surprise to Raleigh people. Miss Sanderlin recently visited State 
Stuperintendant of Public Instruction Joyner here.
