Wake County, NC - Will of Benjamin Bunn, 1816 ----¤¤¤---- Will of Benjamin Bunn dated March 15, 1816 Wake County, North Carolina "In the name of god amen I Benjamin Bunn of Wake County being of sound and perfect mind and memmory blessed be god do this 15 of March 1816 make and publish this my last will and testament in manner following that is to say first I lend to my beloved wife Catrin Bunn one negro woman Morning one feather bed and furniture one pot and oven one case of knives and forkes 6 plates 2 dishes 2 basn six spoons one lume and gear one chist one desk one boosat 2 cows and calves two sows and pigs 4 ewes one choice horse one years provision and one hundred acres of land not taking naragh mill then I give and bequeath to my son Cade Bunn all the land I own on the west side of Mocoson Creeke from the Beverdam Branch up and the land I had of Richard Massey of the east side of sd Creek and all the flat ground as the Mill drowns when she has got a fool head of warter up the east side as far as she drowns and thr hundred acres that I lend to my wife at her death and one negro man Peter one turner shoop and tools one black smith shoop and tools and the Mill site where Petipool Massey formerly had a mill and my still Item then I give and bequeath to my son Bud Bunn fore hund and fifty acres of land the place where he now lives and two negro boys by the name of Cupit and Sam Item then I give and bequeath to my son James Bunn all the land I own on the south side of the Raleigh Rode on both sides of Mocoson Creek one negro boy Avrit Item then I give and bequeath to my son Bennit Bunn all the land I own between the Reverdam Branch and Rode and one negro woman June and one negro boy Fagins Item then I give and bequeath to my daughter Clarey Bunn one negro woman Annaca Rose and Hanner Annaca children Item then I give and bequeath to my son Berry Bunn all the land on the east side of Mocoson Creek that I hante wild away the place where Petipoole Massey formerly lived one negro woman Chine and two negroe boys by the name of Mark and Jack and all the rest of my property that I hant wild away is to be sold and the land upon the middle prong is to be sold and a rite to be made to the purchaser by my Exor and the money arising from sd sale to be divided between Bud Bunn Cade Bunn James Bunn Bennit Bunn Clarey Bunn and Berry Bunn and at my wife Catrian Bunn death all the property that I lende to her is to be sold except the land and the money a rising from sd sale to be divided among the sons above named which Bud Bunn Cade Bunn James Bunn Bennit Bunn Clarey Bunn Berry Bunn and I hear by make and ordane my worthey friends Jesse Hammons and Cade Bunn my Executors of this my last will and testament in witness where of I the said Benjamin Bunn have to this my last will and teste set my hand and seal the day and year above written signed sealed published and declared by the said Benjamin Bunn the testator as his last will and testament in the presents of us who was present at the time of signing and sealing there of his Witness Benjamin BB Bunn {Seal} Barachias Massey mark Simeon Massey } his } Jurat Zedekiah co Edward } mark Recorded in book R Page 4 B King CC Jesse Hammons} Cade Bunn } Exr" ___________________________________________________________________ Copyright.
