Wake County, NC - Will of Samuel Hobbs, 1853 ~~~~~~~~~~ Last Will and Testament of Samuel Hobbs State of North Carolina Wake county Know all men by these presents that I, Samuel Hobbs of the county and state of aforesaid being of sound and disposing mind and memory but in feeble health make and declare and publish this my last will and testaments. I give and bequeath unto William W. Hobbs, my brother, one Negro man Jack, to him and his heirs forever. Secondly- I give and bequeath unto my nephew James Wm. H. Hobbs all of my estate not above bequeathed, both real and personal to him and his heirs forever, in fee simple, including all debts or evidence of debts and all interests which I may have owing to me after paying my final expenses and whatever just debts I may owe. And further I nominate and appoint my nephew James W. H. Hobbs, sole executor to this my last will and testament.
