I Prudence Powell of Wake County being confined to my bead and suffering under affliction and of sound mind and memry as the nature of my case will admit and knowing that it is appointed for all persons to die, do make and publish this my last will and Testament to wit: First my will is for all my just debts to be paid and after my just debts is paid I give and bequeath unto my daughter Aley Poole one cow and calf and six head of hogs. Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Nancy Powell all my stock of cattle which I have not given away. I further give all my beads and furniture all my puter and chairs, and all my furniture of every kine that I now own and also my crop of corn fodder and pitaters (potatoes) to her and hers forever. I further constitute and appoint my loving sun Robin Powell my executer to this my last will and Testament signed with my seale and dated October 17, 1813.
