All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/nc/ncfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Beverly Watson beverly_wat@msn.com March 6, 2010, 11:00 am Source: Lds Microfilmed Original Records Written: November 28, 1788 Recorded: December 1789 Wills: Isaac Reavis (Reeves), 1788: Wake County, North Carolina Last Will and Testament of Isaac Reavis, decd Wake County Will Book 1, pg 96 In the name of God Amen this 28th of Nov. 1788 I Isaac Reavis of the County Wake, State of North Carolina being very sick and weak and Knowing that it is appointed for all Men once to die do make this my last Will and Testament that is to say Principally and first of all I Give and recommend my soul into the Hands of almighty God who gave it me hoping at the General Resurrection I shall Receive the same again and as Touching such worldly Estate As been pleased God to Bestow in this life I Give and dispose in the Manner following that is to say in the first place my Will and desire is that all my Just debts be paid by any Executors whom I shall hereafter appoint – Item in the next place I lend to my Well beloved (?) wife, Hannah Reavis the plantation I had of Buckner Pace during her Natural Life or Widowhood and in case she should Marry her third and at her Death or Marriage the sd Land to be Equally Divided Between my two sons William Wallis Reavis and John Hanner (sic ?) Reavis and all my other property not mentioned to be Equally Divided Between my Wife and my two sons only I lend them to my wife to --- and School my Children upon, this I Give & Bequeathe to them and their Heirs forever Item, I do nominate and appoint John Wallis and Edwards Wallis and my Wife Hannah Reavis my hole and Sole Executors ratifying and Confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament.
